Rake Tooth: High wear-resistant alloy, stirs materials in furnace to ensure full mixing of KCl and sulfuric acid.

Rake Tooth

The rake tooth assembly of the potassium sulfate reactor (Mannheim furnace), as the core stirring and pushing component, directly determines the conversion rate, purity and production stability of potassium sulfate finished products. It meets three strict requirements: high temperature resistance of 500~600℃, strong concentrated sulfuric acid corrosion resistance and high-load wear resistance, which adapts to extreme working conditions, guarantees production efficiency and reduces comprehensive production costs.

Core Structural Composition

‌1.Metal Support Base‌‌: It is usually made of high-chromium alloy or modified high-aluminum material, with high strength and anti-deformation capability.

‌2.Wear-resistant and Corrosion-resistant Working Layer‌‌: High-purity silicon carbide rake tooth bricks are directly inlaid on the working surface of the base, which completely isolates the high-temperature strong acidic materials from the metal base to avoid corrosion and loss of the metal. Meanwhile, it continuously scrapes the materials inside the furnace relying on its high hardness.

‌3.Auxiliary Fixing Accessories‌‌: Silicon carbide filling mud is used to fill the gaps between the rake tooth bricks and the base, completely eliminating the component clearances to prevent the rake tooth bricks from loosening and falling off during operation. For some rake teeth with large lateral stress, reinforcing ribs are also installed to strengthen the structural strength of the weak positions.
